Results Your CFO Will Sign Off

A consulting result is only as credible as the method behind it. Below, we set out how Velencis measures and confirms every gain, followed by recent projects where that method was applied.

Four Tests Every Result Must Pass

  1. Attributable

We separate each gain from volume and price movements before counting it. Gains caused by market conditions are excluded.

  2. Standardized

Each metric follows a published standard wherever one exists, so your auditors and investors can check the method.

  3. Finance-Confirmed

Your finance team validates the figure against the management accounts before Velencis reports it.

  4. Sustained

A result counts as delivered once it has held after handover.

The Standards Behind Our Numbers

Technological Acceleration & AI

The measure follows the application. A workflow project may track processing time or error rates. A customer-service deployment may track response time and resolution rates.

Industrial engagements use the relevant production measures. Every project starts with an agreed baseline and a defined source for subsequent reporting.

Due Diligence
Each value creation initiative is tied to an EBITDA bridge that reconciles to the company’s management accounts. Investment committees see exactly which line of the P&L every dollar affects.
Supply Chain
Inventory days and cost-to-serve are measured against twelve months of data from before the engagement. That window captures seasonal swings, so a quiet month cannot pass as an improvement.
ESG Transformation
Emissions inventories follow the GHG Protocol Corporate Standard. Energy savings are verified using the International Performance Measurement and Verification Protocol, which compares consumption before and after a project and adjusts for changes in operating conditions.
Market Entry

We track delivery against the approved entry plan. Milestones reflect the chosen route to market and the responsibilities assigned to Velencis.

The final delivery measure is agreed at the outset. It may be the first local sale or the start of production. A distribution engagement may conclude when the network is ready to accept orders.

Projects in Practice

The projects below show the kind of work Velencis takes on: programs where operational decisions affect the success of a major investment. In each one, Velencis works alongside a wider group of advisers, with a defined role in the operating workstream.

Supply ChainReal Estate & Construction

Frontier Data Center Campus, Texas

Vantage Data Centers is developing Frontier, an investment of more than $25 billion in Shackelford County, Texas. The 1,200-acre campus will hold ten data centers with 1.4 GW of capacity for high-density GPU computing. Construction is underway, with the first building scheduled for delivery in the second half of 2026. The campus uses liquid cooling and a closed-loop chiller system that requires minimal water.

At this scale, the central operating question is whether equipment deliveries can keep pace with construction. Velencis supports the delivery workstream by linking long-lead procurement to the build schedule. The project team gains a working plan for critical equipment before it can cause delay.

Due DiligenceManufacturing & Industry 4.0

Gefran Brasil Acquisition of Grupo Novus

Gefran Brasil, the Brazilian subsidiary of Italian industrial automation group Gefran, acquired 100% of Grupo Novus. Novus develops and manufactures electronic equipment for industrial measurement and process control at its factory in Canoas, Brazil. Gefran’s stated aim is to expand its technology portfolio and strengthen its position across Brazil and Latin America. The cross-border transaction also involved Novus companies in the United States and Argentina.

Legal and tax due diligence ran in parallel with an operating assessment, coordinated across several advisers. Velencis contributed to the operating assessment, examining the factory’s production capacity and the product support requirements behind the growth plan. That work connected the commercial case for the deal to the practical demands of integrating an industrial equipment manufacturer.

Who Signs Off

Your finance team
Confirms the financial value of each result. Velencis reports only figures that have passed this check.
Your operations owner
Confirms that the process change is in daily use. A gain recorded on paper without a working routine behind it does not count.

Measured Again After We Leave

We return both six and twelve months after handover to re-measure each result against its original baseline. If a gain has slipped, our consultants work with your team to find the cause and restore performance.

What Every Results Report Contains

  • The original baseline, with each adjustment documented
  • The measured gain and the source data behind it
  • Written confirmation from your finance team
  • A plan for keeping the gain, with a named owner for each metric
